After attending elementary school in Tokyo, Dr. Awosika finished high school in Nigeria and attended University of Lagos Teaching Hospital College of Medicine, receiving two Bachelor Degrees. After interning at the Port of Spain Hospital in Trinidad, he practiced for a year in England before completing his residency and fellowship at New York's North Shore University Hospital and St. John Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Awosika is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Lifestyle Medicine. He lives in Central Florida and has 3 kids, Olajire, Obatimilehin and Obasindara. “We become what we eat” says Dr. Awosika and so he has a wellness program with an in-house Wellness Coach who helps patients modify their eating habits and lifestyle. As part of his holistic approach to wellness, a medical marijuana clinic is Dr Awosika’s latest addition At his practice in West Orange Nephrology, Dr. Awosika specializes in Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis and Kidney Transplant medicine with an emphasis on preventative care.

Dr. Muhammad Adnan Saleem Malik is a highly skilled and experienced Nephrologist with a diverse medical background. He graduated from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan in 2000 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Pakistan. Dr. Malik further expanded his expertise with a year of Nephrology Research at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN (2006-2007). In 2012, Dr. Malik relocated to Florida, where he joined the West Orange Nephrology team in July 2013, where he continues to provide exceptional care to his patients. Outside of his medical career, Dr. Malik enjoys spending time at the gym, watching games and movies, and most importantly, hanging out with his family. He is married to his wife, a veterinarian, and together they have two children.

Marjan Vandevar, D.O. is a board-certified nephrologist with a strong background in internal medicine. She completed her medical training at Nova Southeastern University and her nephrology fellowship at East Carolina University. Dr. Vandevar has years of experience caring for patients and is passionate about medical education, having presented on topics like acute kidney injury and medical ethics. She brings a compassionate, research-informed approach to patient care and remains active in several professional organizations, including ASN, AOA, and FOMA. Outside of medicine, Dr. Vandevar is happily married and the proud mother of a beautiful daughter.

Daphney Zidor became a Nurse Practitioner for the love of nursing, continuous learning, and personal growth within the role. Since earning her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), she has continued to advance her clinical skills and leadership in patient care. She is happily married and is the proud mother of two wonderful boys who keep her very busy when she’s not caring for patients at West Orange Nephrology. In her free time, she enjoys singing at church and playing volleyball.

Gabrielle Lisbon is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner who joined the West Orange Nephrology team in 2024. Born and raised in Florida, Gabrielle has been a compassionate nurse since 2018. She became an APRN to further her commitment to providing exceptional care and supporting patients on their journey to better health. Passionate about empowering others, Gabrielle strives to help each patient become the healthiest version of themselves.
